Jupiter Power secured $1.4 billion in project financing across four separate transactions, supporting ten utility-scale battery energy storage system projects totaling 1,500 MW / 3,600 MWh of capacity across Texas and Michigan. The transactions, which closed between April and July 2026, include senior secured project debt, tax equity bridge loans, and an investment-grade U.S. private placement. In July 2026, Jupiter Power closed a $536 million senior secured facility with HSBC Bank USA and SMBC for three Texas projects: Tidwell Prairie II, Bee Branch, and Barton Branch. Prior to that in June 2026, the company closed a $281 million private placement with AB CarVal and Nuveen, collateralized by three operational projects in Texas and Michigan. In May 2026, ING Capital and Societe Generale provided a $294 million financing package for the Grand Basin and Voyager I projects in Michigan, and in April 2026, Societe Generale and MUFG arranged a $258 million senior facility for the Callisto II and Pamela Heights I projects in Harris County, Texas. This financing package brings Jupiter Power's total financing raised since inception to more than $3 billion, reflecting the company's capital markets relationships and execution capabilities as it expands its energy storage platform.
