Kallista Energy signs supply agreement with Envision Energy for 193 MW battery storage project in Neuilly‑en‑Thelle, France

Kallista Energy and Envision Energy have entered a supply agreement for a 193 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) at Neuilly‑en‑Thelle in the Hauts‑de‑France region. The project will store 386 MWh using lithium‑iron‑phosphate cells produced by Envision AESC at its local gigafactory. Construction has begun and commercial operation is targeted before spring 2028, with the system slated to provide frequency regulation services for Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE). The deal expands Envision Energy’s footprint in the French battery market while strengthening Kallista Energy’s renewable portfolio. Envision Energy will also handle long‑term operation, maintenance, and battery recycling over a 25‑year lifecycle.
