KGAL ESPF 5 sells 16 MW Spalletti solar park in Italy to Altea Green Power

KGAL ESPF 5, a fund managed by KGAL GmbH & Co KG, completed the sale of the 16 MW Spalletti solar park in Italy to Altea Green Power. The project, located near Parma in the Emilia-Romagna region, has been operational since early 2024 and was developed on a reclaimed former gravel and sand extraction site. KGAL acquired the project at the ready-to-build stage in 2021 and managed its development through to operation. The transaction benefits from a government-backed feed-in tariff, ensuring revenue stability for the asset. Proceeds from the sale will be reinvested into further acquisitions for the fund portfolio, as noted by Patrick Villmann, Transaction Manager Sustainable Infrastructure at KGAL.
