Taiwanese cloud and AI infrastructure provider Konst signed a lease agreement to deploy GPU infrastructure at LG Sinar Mas's SMX01 data center in Jakarta, Indonesia. The SMX01 facility, a $300 million joint venture project with a total capacity of 27MW, is scheduled to open in Q4 2026 with an initial phase targeting 6MW. Konst will utilize the data center's high power density capabilities, supporting up to 130kW per rack for high-density workloads. GPU servers will be supplied by Giga Computing, a subsidiary of Gigabyte, while AI infrastructure service provider Raydian Cloud will manage GPU cluster deployment and operations.
