L&B Capital SGR acquires 90 MW agrivoltaic project in Puglia via Italian Renewable Resources fund
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Solar · Country: Italy · Capacity: 90 MW · Announced: 2026-06-22
L&B Capital SGR SpA completed the acquisition of Società Agricola TEP Foggia 4 Srl through its Italian Renewable Resources (IRR) fund, gaining full ownership of a 90 MW agrivoltaic project located in Foggia, Puglia. The project, named Foggia 4, is an authorized agrivoltaic installation with an advanced level of permitting maturity, representing a material industrial-scale opportunity in Italy's renewable energy sector. TEP Renewables PV Spa, a subsidiary of TEP Renewables, sold the project as part of a broader strategic agreement with L&B Capital SGR to explore additional collaboration and investment opportunities within TEP Renewables' agrivoltaic project pipeline. The IRR fund, launched in 2024 as L&B Capital SGR's first renewable energy-focused fund, has raised over €255 million across four capital rounds from private investors and family offices. The acquisition aligns with L&B Capital SGR's strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio in Italy, particularly in high-potential regions like Puglia.
