Lafarge France and EDF signed a long-term nuclear production allocation contract on 2025-09-03 under which EDF will allocate a share of its operating nuclear fleet's output to supply a portion of Lafarge France's electricity needs for over 10 years, sharing costs and production-volume risks to provide low-carbon power to Lafarge's electro-intensive sites in France.
