Type: Partnership · Technology: Solar, Storage · Country: Norway · Value: EUR 700M · Announced: 2026-06-15

Landinfra Energy and Eiffel Investment Group expanded their partnership to jointly develop a 1 GW portfolio of solar PV and battery energy storage projects in Norway’s NO1 price area. The transaction establishes a 50/50 joint venture, with Eiffel acquiring a 50% stake in the Norwegian portfolio while Landinfra retains the remaining interest. The development pipeline includes four projects totaling approximately 886 MW of solar PV and 177 MW of co-located battery energy storage, with the first assets expected to reach ready-to-build status by 2028 pending permitting. Upon full development, the portfolio is projected to require over €700 million in investment and generate around 900 GWh of renewable electricity annually, strengthening clean power generation in southern Norway. The agreement builds on a prior partnership announced in April 2024, which covers the joint development of up to 1,800 MW of renewable energy projects in Sweden, reinforcing the companies’ combined focus on Nordic renewable infrastructure.
