LANGA International secures €26 million financing from BPCE Energeco for 25 MWp Italian solar portfolio

LANGA International obtained €26 million of long‑term financing from BPCE Energeco to fund a 25 MWp solar PV portfolio in Italy. The portfolio, spread across northern and southern Italy, is expected to generate about 35 GWh of renewable electricity each year under long‑term incentive mechanisms from the Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE). This marks LANGA International’s first project‑financing transaction in the Italian market and supports its strategic expansion plan for the country. BPCE Energeco highlighted the transaction as a milestone for its European growth strategy launched in 2020, while LANGA International sees the financing as a platform to expand its asset base. The deal was advised by Bird & Bird (legal), 3E (technical), Marsh (insurance) and Sigée Finance (model audit). The financing agreement was announced on 28 July 2026.
