Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore secured a lump sum turnkey EPC contract from Kuwait Oil Company to engineer, procure, and construct six crude oil storage tanks with a combined operating capacity of 3.7 million barrels, alongside new pipelines and upgrades to Kuwait’s crude loading and export network. Each of the six storage tanks will hold 618,000 barrels at operating capacity, directly supporting Kuwait’s Jurassic light oil export infrastructure expansion. The project includes comprehensive upgrades to existing crude loading facilities and the installation of new pipelines to enhance throughput capacity and operational efficiency across Kuwait’s export network. Larsen & Toubro’s Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore division assumes full responsibility for project delivery, including cost, schedule, and completion, reflecting Kuwait Oil Company’s confidence in its execution capabilities.
