LD TravOcean takes delivery of multipurpose support vessel TVO Mariner from prior owner

LD TravOcean, a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs, took delivery of the DP2 multipurpose support vessel TVO Mariner (previously known as SIDDIS Mariner) in mid-September 2026. The 88.3-metre vessel, built in 2011 to Norwegian standards, has a payload capacity of around 2,500 tonnes, a 950-square-metre working deck, dynamic positioning and accommodation for up to 70 personnel. The vessel will operate under the French International Register (RIF) and be crewed by LD Armateurs seafarers while subsea operations will be run by LD TravOcean specialist teams for telecommunications cables, cable repair projects and offshore wind projects. Olivier Le Nagard, Managing Director of LD TravOcean, said ownership of TVO Mariner gives the company full execution control for submarine cable installation, trenching services and deep-water ROV operations across projects in France and international waters. No purchase price was disclosed in the article, and technical and ship management responsibilities will be overseen by Louis Dreyfus Armateurs while subsea operations are performed by LD TravOcean.
