Lea Renergy acquires Enertronica Santerno in judicial liquidation sale
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Solar · Country: Italy · Announced: 2026-05-18
Lea Renergy, an Italian company specializing in utility-scale solar PV, agrivoltaic, industrial energy efficiency, and sustainable mobility solutions, acquired the entire ownership of Enertronica Santerno S.p.A. through a judicial liquidation sale process. The acquisition was finalized on May 18, 2026, at the Sezione Fallimentare of the Tribunale Civile di Bologna, following Lea Renergy's initial expression of interest submitted on October 29, 2025. Enertronica Santerno, based in Castel Guelfo di Bologna and previously listed on Borsa Italiana's EGM market, had been under judicial liquidation since October 2025 and employed 79 people at the time of sale. Lea Renergy, led by CEO Luigi Marziale—who previously served as Enertronica Santerno's CEO from 2014 to 2016—integrated the acquired company into its operational structure, which includes headquarters in Toscanella di Dozza and operational plants in Sora (FR) and Alcamo (TP). The transaction was structured as a distressed M&A deal, with GA-Alliance acting as legal and financial advisor to Lea Renergy throughout the process.
