Levanta Renewables, a portfolio company of Actis, received Investment Policy Approval from the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee for the 40 MW Ia Dreng 1 wind farm in Gia Lai Province, Vietnam. The project secured an Investment Registration Certificate in Q2 2026, marking a critical regulatory milestone ahead of construction commencement planned for H1 2027. Commercial operations are targeted for H2 2028, with the wind farm expected to connect to Vietnam’s national grid and support the country’s Power Development Plan VIII. Pramod Singh, CEO of Levanta Renewables, emphasized the project’s role in Vietnam’s energy transition and the company’s strategic growth in the region. The wind farm will contribute to meeting Vietnam’s rising demand for reliable renewable power, leveraging Levanta’s local expertise and development experience.
