Macquarie Asset Management acquires units in Maple Infrastructure Trust from La Caisse

Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) acquired units in Maple Infrastructure Trust, an Indian toll road investment trust owned and operated by La Caisse, for $450 million. The transaction includes $150 million of additional equity from MAM earmarked for future acquisitions and a $150 million commitment from La Caisse to support future growth. Maple owns and operates seven toll roads across six states in Eastern, Northern, and Southern India through long-term concession frameworks, with an aggregate length of approximately 3,328 lane kilometers (2,067 miles). The deal was executed via the Macquarie Asia-Pacific Infrastructure Fund 4 (MAIF4), which held its initial close in May 2026. MAM and La Caisse will jointly own controlling stakes in Maple's investment manager and project manager.
