Type: Financing · Technology: Hospitality · Country: Ireland · Value: $603M · Announced: 2026-09-01
Mater Private Network (MPN), an Irish private hospital group majority-owned by InfraVia, completed a €520 million ($603 million) seven-year senior secured refinancing to fund its growth and investment program. The financing replaces a 2022 package and includes an additional capital expenditure facility to support MPN’s expansion of healthcare infrastructure, patient services, and digital transformation across its national network of 11 locations. MPN specializes in high-specialty medical areas including heart and vascular, cancer, spine, and orthopedics, and has invested significantly in state-of-the-art medical facilities and technology since InfraVia’s initial 2018 investment. The refinancing was provided by a syndicate of high-profile commercial banks and institutional infrastructure debt investors, including BNP Paribas Asset Management and Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management. Daragh Kavanagh, MPN’s CFO, stated the financing provides a strong framework to continue investing in people, facilities, technology, and services to deliver high-quality, innovative care across Ireland.
