Matrix, a company backed by TPG's impact fund, has announced the grid connection of two new renewable energy projects in Spain: Cruz de los Caminos and Piedra de la Sal. These assets secured financial close in early 2025 and are supported by a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Merck. With the commissioning of these two projects, Matrix now has 15 interconnected projects in Spain, totaling a combined installed capacity of 691 MW.
