Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners to acquire majority stake in French environmental platform Nicollin Environnement
Type: Acquisition · Technology: Water Waste · Country: France · Announced: 2026-07-15
Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners entered exclusivity and committed to acquire a majority stake in Nicollin Environnement, a family‑owned French environmental platform. Nicollin operates across France with about 4,800 employees, a fleet of 2,900 vehicles and a network of depots, transfer stations and sorting facilities serving roughly 360 public contracts and 8,000 private clients. The platform provides waste collection, sorting, urban street cleaning and water‑related services to municipalities and businesses. The acquisition will allow MSIP to expand its European waste and water infrastructure portfolio while pursuing operational excellence and fleet decarbonisation. The Nicollin family will retain an equity stake and continue to support the company’s growth alongside MSIP. No financial terms were disclosed and the transaction is expected to close later in 2026.
