Type: Financing · Technology: Solar, Storage · Country: Argentina · Announced: 2026-08-10

MSU Green Energy successfully expanded its international green bond by $130 million, increasing the total operation volume from $400 million to $530 million. FinDev Canada and DEG each contributed $50 million to this reopening, with the remaining $30 million coming from other investors. These funds will support MSU Green Energy's expansion plan, including the installation of 182 MW of solar photovoltaic capacity and 150 MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS). The additional financing will also help maintain approximately 1.7 GW of existing renewable capacity in operation. This marks FinDev Canada's first investment in a green bond within its sustainable infrastructure portfolio.
