MVV partners with Müller and ADS-TEC Energy to roll out 39 DC fast charging stations in Germany
Type: Partnership · Technology: Ev Charging · Country: Germany · Announced: 2026-07-17
MVV partnered with Müller and ADS-TEC Energy to roll out 39 DC fast charging stations with 78 charging points at 27 Müller locations across Germany. The ChargePost systems provide 250‑300 kW power capacity per station and include an integrated battery of up to 201 kWh to buffer grid constraints. Each station can charge two vehicles simultaneously at up to 150 kW, delivering a combined capacity of roughly 11.7 MW across the network. The rollout expands MVV’s public EV charging network, which already includes 250 stations with 480 points in the Mannheim and Rhine‑Neckar region. By locating chargers at retail destinations, the partners aim to meet the German Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act requirements and enhance shopper convenience while offering Müller digital advertising space. No financial terms were disclosed, and the parties will jointly manage operation, technical service, and customer support.
