Nakwol Blue Heart secures supply and installation contracts for Yeonggwang Nakwol offshore wind farm foundations and cables

Nakwol Blue Heart (Nakwol Wind) awarded multiple supply and installation contracts for the Yeonggwang Nakwol 364.8 MW offshore wind farm in South Korea. GS Entec and Dutch foundation manufacturer Sif Group supplied the monopile foundations, while Samhae ENC, Toseong Construction, and Hansan Maritime jointly installed them using the jack-up vessel Hansan 1. Taihan Cable & Solution completed the installation of both export and inter-array cables for the project. The wind farm, located off Nakwol-myeon in Jeollanam-do Province, includes 64 Vensys 5.7 MW turbines and achieved first power in December 2025. Commissioning is expected later in 2026, making it one of South Korea's first large-scale commercial offshore wind farms.
