Nature Infrastructure Capital and Ara Partners invest in Anesco to support 7 GW solar and battery storage pipeline

Nature Infrastructure Capital (NIC) and Ara Partners invested in UK renewable energy developer Anesco to support the development and construction of over 7 GW of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The investment will enable Anesco to accelerate its pipeline, which includes projects primarily in the UK and additional developments in Belgium and the Netherlands. Anesco, founded in 2010, has delivered approximately 1.3 GW of solar and battery storage projects in the UK and currently manages more than 1.3 GW of assets for investors. Several projects in Anesco’s UK development pipeline have secured Gate 2 connection offers from the National Energy System Operator (NESO).
