Nebius signed an 18 MW capacity lease with Merlin Properties for the Getafe data center near Madrid, Spain. The Getafe campus, jointly developed with Edged Energy, includes two buildings—MG1 with 20 MW and MG2 with 48 MW—operating at a PUE of 1.15. The lease adds to Nebius’s European footprint, giving it a presence in five countries and expanding its access to high‑efficiency data centre capacity. Merlin Properties, a real‑estate specialist, continues to monetize its data‑centre assets across Spain and Portugal, where it plans up to 200 MW of capacity in the first phase. The agreement was reported on 3 July 2026, though the exact signing date was not disclosed.
