NES Data signs MoU to develop 60MW data center in Pune, India

NES Data, the data center subsidiary of Indian tech and real estate firm TCC Concept Limited, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire a land parcel at the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjewadi, Pune, for the development of a 60MW data center. The MoU is a preliminary, non-binding agreement, and the size of the land parcel and an estimated construction timeline were not provided. NES Data currently owns and operates a 4MW enterprise facility in Pune, and TCC Concept Limited has stated its intention to build 100MW of data center capacity in the medium-term. Pune, a major city in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, is a key target for data center expansion in India.
