NextDC secures AU$500 million in senior debt facilities to support data center expansion in Australia and Southeast Asia

NextDC, an Australian data center developer, raised an additional AU$500 million (USD 347 million) in senior debt facilities, bringing its total commitments to AU$2.3 billion (USD 1.6 billion). The financing follows a AU$1.8 billion (USD 1.25 billion) commitment announced in May 2026 and will support contracted utilization growth, ongoing data center developments, and general corporate purposes. The company operates 20 data centers in Australia and has sites in planning or under evaluation in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. The new facilities are expected to close in mid-July 2026, reflecting strong support from a broad syndicate of lenders.
