Nexus Data Centers files to develop a $400 million data center in Dallas, Texas

Nexus Data Centers has filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to develop a data center, Nexus - Apex DFW HB1, in Hubbard, Hill County, Texas. The $400 million project is set to span 491,380 sq ft (45,650 sqm) and construction is scheduled to run from January 2026 to October 2027. Google is reportedly providing financial backing for the project, which is said to be set to serve Anthropic. Nexus Data Centers is backed by Transition Equity Partners, a North American mid-market private equity firm specializing in energy transition infrastructure.
