Nordex Group secured a landmark 525 MW wind turbine supply and installation contract with Türkerler Holding for Turkey’s largest single turbine deal in the country’s wind energy history. The agreement covers the delivery and installation of 72 N175/6.X turbines from Nordex’s Delta4000 series at the YEKA-5 R25 Sivas project in Sivas province, central Turkey, with each turbine installed at a 354-foot hub height. The contract includes a 10-year Premium Service agreement, extendable to 25 years, ensuring Nordex’s long-term involvement in the project’s operations. First turbine installation is scheduled for Q3 2027, allowing time for logistics, site preparation, and supply chain coordination across all 72 units. This order boosts Nordex’s cumulative market share in Turkey to 34%, reinforcing its position as a dominant player in the country’s expanding renewable energy sector.
