North Star secured £275 million of debt financing from a consortium of lenders. The capital will underpin North Star's expansion across the United Kingdom and Europe as competition for offshore wind contracts intensifies. The deal was announced in early August 2026, reflecting investor confidence in the world’s largest SOV operator.
