Novva Group acquires 37.8 MW solar portfolio in Colombia from ABO Energy

Novva Group signed a definitive agreement to acquire a portfolio of three solar projects in Colombia from German developer ABO Energy, totaling 37.8 MWac. The projects are situated in the Andean highlands of central Colombia and have already secured grid‑connection approvals and long‑term land‑lease agreements. Commercial operation of the assets is slated to begin in early 2028. The acquisition expands Novva’s emerging‑market solar footprint after its recent purchase of a 120 MWp solar project in the Philippines. ABO Energy’s General Manager Ingo Burdack‑Debes highlighted Novva’s financing and execution capabilities as key to advancing the assets and accelerating Colombia’s clean‑energy transition.
