Type: Partnership · Technology: Transport · Country: Ireland · Announced: 2026-06-27

The National Transport Authority and TFI Local Link have partnered with Mount Congreve Gardens to introduce a new pilot bus stop on Route 667, operating between Dungarvan and Waterford. The initiative aims to improve accessibility to one of the region's most popular visitor attractions while encouraging the use of public transport for leisure travel. The new stop will be served by one return service on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays throughout the summer months. Mount Congreve Gardens will offer discounted admission rates to visitors travelling by TFI Local Link services, with garden admission reduced to €12 for adults and €10 for seniors upon presentation of a valid bus ticket. The partnership reflects the National Transport Authority's commitment to enhancing public transport connectivity and supporting tourism and local amenities. The pilot scheme will run throughout the summer and will be reviewed in September.
