NTPC Renewable Energy Limited signs 1,200 MW solar PPA with PTC India

On 4 July 2026, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited signed a Power Purchase Agreement with PTC India to supply 1,200 MW of solar power. The agreement covers solar generation projects in India, adding a substantial 1.2 GW of renewable capacity to NTPC’s portfolio. The added capacity will help India progress toward its national clean‑energy targets. The deal strengthens PTC India’s off‑take portfolio while supporting NTPC’s ambition to expand its renewable footprint.
