Nvidia and SK Group announced a partnership worth over $500 billion to build a 2 GW AI factory. The AI factory will be based in South Korea and will use Nvidia’s Vera Rubin DSX platform together with SK Hynix’s HBM4 memory. The first facility is scheduled to become operational in 2027, delivering compute for AI training, inference and agentic workloads. The agreement also calls for joint development of next‑generation high‑bandwidth memory to support growing AI infrastructure demand. By combining SK Telecom’s AI cloud capabilities with Nvidia’s hardware and software stack, the deal aims to position Korea as a global AI hub. No external advisors or lenders were disclosed in the announcement.
