Nvidia and Noetra announced a partnership to deploy a Vera Rubin AI Factory in Japan, delivering 140 MW of data center capacity. The facility will house 13,750 Vera CPUs and 27,500 Rubin GPUs within Nvidia NVL72 racks linked by Spectrum‑X Ethernet. The project supports Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry AI robotics strategy launched in March 2026. By constructing this AI‑focused data center, the partners aim to accelerate physical AI applications across Japanese industry. The announcement was made on 16 July 2026, positioning the cluster as a cornerstone of Japan's ambition to capture over 30 % of the global AI robotics market by 2040.
