Octopus Energy Generation completed the acquisition of 321 MW of onshore wind assets across France, Germany, and Poland for €584 million ($584M) through its Sky fund. The portfolio includes 17 sites—10 in France (143.5 MW), four in Germany (102.5 MW), and three in Poland (75 MW)—with a mix of operational and under-construction projects. Once fully built, the assets are expected to generate enough electricity to power over 250,000 homes annually. In France, the projects span regions including Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, while German sites are located in Lower Saxony, Brandenburg, Hesse, and Baden-Württemberg. The Polish acquisitions provide access to a development pipeline of new renewable projects. Octopus Energy Generation now manages more than 400 large-scale renewable energy projects globally, with its European onshore wind portfolio expanding to 67 wind farms across seven countries.
