OEG awarded seabed clearance contract for ScottishPower Renewables' East Anglia Two offshore wind farm

OEG secured a seabed clearance contract for ScottishPower Renewables' 960 MW East Anglia Two offshore wind project, located 33 kilometers off the Suffolk coast in the UK. The agreement covers unexploded ordnance (UXO) disposal, boulder relocation, and removal of out-of-service cables ahead of construction, with work scheduled from June to September 2026. OEG will dispose of three confirmed UXOs using Low Order Deflagration techniques, relocate approximately 1,800 boulders, and remove between 12 and 15 out-of-service cables during the campaign. East Anglia Two is part of ScottishPower Renewables' East Anglia Hub portfolio, alongside East Anglia One North and East Anglia Three, and was selected in the UK government's Contract for Difference Allocation Round 6 (AR6).
