OneQode, an AI cloud and network infrastructure provider, signed a 15-year lease agreement with Bitzero for 110MW of data center capacity at Bitzero's facility in Namsos, Norway. The contract, valued at approximately $2.6 billion, covers the full initial power capacity at the site and includes plans to scale to 315MW. Initial commissioning is targeted for the first half of 2027, with capacity rolled out in phases involving large-scale GPU deployments. The data center will be powered by hydroelectric energy, leveraging Norway's abundant renewable resources and cooler climate. OneQode selected the site due to Bitzero's experience with energy-intensive workloads and the site's strategic advantages. The agreement represents a pivotal milestone for Bitzero, securing long-term revenue and reinforcing its role in supporting high-performance computing infrastructure.
