Type: Supply Agreement · Technology: Oil Gas · Country: Norway · Announced: 2026-07-20
OneSubsea, a joint venture of SLB, Aker Solutions, and Subsea7, has been awarded two contracts by Vår Energi for subsea production infrastructure offshore Norway. The first contract involves the design and delivery of gas export infrastructure for the Goliat floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, connecting to the Snøhvit system and the Melkøya LNG plant. The second contract, part of the Balder Next New Wells project, includes four well systems in single-can satellite configurations and associated umbilical systems. These agreements cover OneSubsea's subsea production, umbilical and cable, and processing systems, including multiphase meters, aimed at extending the productive life of the Goliat field by providing an alternative to gas re-injection.
