OnPath Energy partners with Wilson Forest Products for three new onshore wind farms in South Lanarkshire, Scotland

OnPath Energy has entered into an option agreement with Wilson Forest Products for the development of three new onshore wind farms: Bankend Rig II, Bankend Rig III, and Hawkwood Wind Farm, located in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. This partnership is part of OnPath Energy's plan to invest approximately £1 billion in Southern Scotland over the next five years. The three wind farms will feature a total of 18 turbines with a combined capacity of 121MW, capable of powering around 150,000 homes annually. Planning consents for Bankend Rig II and Bankend Rig III were secured in 2025, while Hawkwood Wind Farm recently received approval from South Lanarkshire Council. This agreement will increase OnPath Energy's presence in southern Scotland to over 500MW, reinforcing the region's role as a renewables powerhouse.
