Open SB acquires 3E to expand Italian solar PV and storage capabilities

Open SB, a holding company formed from ECO The Photovoltaic Group, acquired 3E, a Naples-based solar PV company with operations since 2007. The acquisition strengthens Open SB's integrated solar solutions, including turnkey installations, technical support, and revamping services. 3E specializes in project financing, incentive management, and repowering of existing solar assets. Open SB plans to leverage 3E's expertise to expand its territorial presence, particularly in Southern Italy. The deal aligns with Open SB's broader strategy to acquire companies with specific competencies, such as energy storage systems, in the coming years.
