Oswal Pumps secures INR 162.06 crore solar pump order from MSEDCL

Oswal Pumps has secured a material supply and installation order valued at INR 162.06 crore from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL). The order encompasses 6,869 off-grid solar PV water pumping systems to be deployed across Maharashtra under Component B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. Oswal Pumps' responsibilities include the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities. The agreement also includes a five-year warranty, repair, and maintenance services for the installed systems. These solar pumps will directly benefit nearly 6,869 farming households, reducing their reliance on grid power and diesel for irrigation, thereby lowering input costs and carbon footprints.
