OX2 secured financing for its 50 MW battery energy storage system at the Fageråsen wind farm from DNB and UniCredit. The BESS, sized at 50 MW/209 MWh, will be co‑located with the wind farm in Malung‑Sälen, Sweden. Construction is slated to start in summer 2026 with commercial operation targeted for the end of 2027. The financing extends the loan package originally arranged for the wind farm in February 2026, underscoring the lenders’ confidence in OX2’s renewable portfolio.
