Pace Digitek secures supply, EPC, and O&M contracts for 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system project from Damodar Valley Corp

Pace Digitek secured three separate contracts from Damodar Valley Corp for the development of a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project located at Maithon in Jharkhand, India. The agreements include a supply contract valued at INR 5,737.28 million, an EPC services contract worth INR 574.26 million, and a 12-year operation and maintenance (O&M) contract totaling INR 708.00 million. The combined contract value amounts to INR 7,019.54 million, including GST. Pace Digitek is responsible for delivering plant and equipment along with mandatory spare parts, as well as handling design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of the project. The supply and EPC scope is scheduled for completion within 18 months from receipt of the Letter of Award. This project marks a material expansion of battery storage capacity in India's eastern region, supporting grid stability and renewable energy integration.
