Pantheon Infrastructure, a London-based infrastructure investment trust, committed $55 million to Terra-Gen, a U.S. renewable energy platform, through a co-investment managed by Igneo Infrastructure Partners. The investment will be funded from Pantheon’s existing cash reserves, supporting Terra-Gen’s utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects. Terra-Gen currently operates approximately 4 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity, with the majority of its output contracted under long-term power purchase agreements with investment-grade offtakers. The company also maintains a development pipeline of around 16 gigawatts of additional projects, positioning it as a key player in the U.S. decarbonization and grid electrification efforts. The transaction underscores Pantheon’s strategic focus on scaling renewable energy infrastructure in the U.S. market.
