Petrobras has signed a two-year contract with Solstad Offshore for the Normand Valiant construction support vessel (CSV). The contract, valued at approximately $62 million, is expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. The vessel will provide accommodation services to support production activities on the Brazilian continental shelf. The Normand Valiant is a 2008-built CSV equipped with a walk-to-work gangway system and has accommodation for 120 persons. The vessel will be on bareboat contract from Solstad Maritime (SOMA) to Solstad Offshore.
