The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has awarded contracts for 17.77 MW of rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Puducherry. Potaliya Petrochemicals secured a contract for 15 MW, while Kishan Infrastructure Industries won a contract for 2.768 MW. These projects will be developed under the RESCO model, with tariffs set at ₹4.11 per kWh. The auction was completed by SECI, marking a material expansion of solar capacity on government infrastructure in the region.
