Principle Power awarded O&M contract for Ocean Winds' 30 MW EFGL floating wind project

Principle Power secured an operations and maintenance contract to provide integrated O&M services for the 30 MW EFGL floating wind project owned by Ocean Winds. The EFGL project includes three WindFloat® foundations each hosting a Vestas V164‑10 MW turbine, located off the French Mediterranean coast near Port‑La Nouvelle in Occitanie. The contract includes inspection, maintenance, repair, remote monitoring, data analytics, and engineering support for both the floating foundations and ancillary equipment such as anchor lines and inter‑array cables. The award strengthens Principle Power’s presence in France and supports the commercial scaling of floating wind technology in the French market and beyond. The deal was announced on 15 July 2026 and marks a key step toward expanding floating offshore wind capacity in Europe.
