Public Power Corporation (PPC) signed a binding memorandum of understanding with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a planned 300 MW data center in Agios Dimitrios, Western Macedonia, with each side projected to invest close to €1 billion and PPC to provide site, buildings and supporting energy infrastructure while AWS installs and operates the IT equipment; completion targeted by 2028 and PPAs will supply the facility with renewable power.
