Type: Development · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Announced: 2026-05-11
Quality Growth Companies (QGC), led by former QTS CEO Chad Williams, launched Quality Infratech Intelligence (QII) to develop 100MW to multi-gigawatt powered industrial campuses for AI factories and energy-intensive manufacturing. The initiative will leverage prefabricated power and site infrastructure modules called QMods to accelerate project delivery. Rich Voorberg, former president of Siemens Energy North America, oversees QII's energy strategy, emphasizing early grid connection planning to avoid project delays. Williams highlighted the need to disrupt traditional data center infrastructure models to meet future AI facility demands. QII operates under QGC, a family office platform founded by Chad and Jeannie Williams, which previously owned QTS before its $10 billion acquisition by Blackstone in 2021.
