Quinbrook closed the final tranche of its £587 million Quinbrook Renewables Impact Fund II (QRIF II), surpassing its £500 million target to invest in renewable energy and energy transition infrastructure across the UK and Ireland. The fund’s portfolio includes the 373 MWdc (240 MWac) Mallard Pass Solar Project in England, the 963 MVA.s Wexford Synchronous Condenser Project in Ireland, Aegis Energy’s clean transport refueling network, and Project Norton—a 65 MW solar and 41 MW battery energy storage project in Stockton-on-Tees. These investments are structured to deliver stable investor returns while supporting long-term decarbonization goals in both countries. Quinbrook has deployed £1.2 billion of equity capital across the UK and Ireland to date, with QRIF II expected to support approximately 2,300 direct and indirect jobs and avoid over 25 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions over its operational lifetime. The fund targets assets with contracted cash flows and essential-service characteristics, aligning with investor demand for high-quality, resilient infrastructure.
