Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners announced that its Quinbrook Renewables Impact Fund II has invested in Aegis Energy, a clean energy refueling platform. The investment is part of QRIF II’s £587 million fund targeting renewable and storage assets across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Aegis Energy provides hydrogen refueling services that support the decarbonisation of transport. The deal aligns with the UK’s Clean Power 2030 targets and Ireland’s goal of meeting 80% of electricity demand from renewable sources by 2030. QRIF II’s portfolio already includes the 373 MW Mallard Pass Solar Project and the 65 MW solar plus 41 MW battery Project Norton, underscoring its focus on grid‑supporting infrastructure.
