Recharge Power and Energy Decarb launch joint venture targeting Australia's solar and battery market

Recharge Power, a Taiwanese grid-level battery project developer, and renewables developer Energy Decarb have formed a joint venture to develop integrated solar and battery projects in Australia. The newly established JV will provide engineering, procurement, and construction solutions for solar and battery energy storage projects, along with energy service company offerings. The venture initially targets commercial and industrial customers, including hotels, shopping centers, and manufacturing plants, with an active project pipeline totaling 128 MW / 292 MWh. These projects are slated for completion over the next two years, aiming to establish a foundation for future expansion into large-scale utility energy infrastructure. Recharge Power will contribute its proprietary energy management system software and system integration capabilities, while Energy Decarb will provide local market knowledge, project development expertise, and electricity trading capabilities.
