Redaptive and Recurve form partnership to launch platform unlocking grid capacity for data centers

Type: Partnership · Technology: Data Center · Country: United States · Announced: 2026-08-06

Redaptive and Recurve announced a partnership on 6 August 2026 to launch a joint platform that will accelerate data center access to grid capacity. The platform combines Redaptive's project financing and deployment capabilities with Recurve's Flex software, which measures and validates capacity created inside facilities and across the surrounding grid. Redaptive will deliver cooling optimization, HVAC upgrades, battery storage for peak shaving, and energy management systems within data centers, while also financing distributed generation such as solar and combined heat and power at external sites. The collaboration aims to reduce the time required for data centers to secure power by turning existing assets into measurable demand‑flexibility resources. By enabling utilities to treat demand flexibility as a grid resource, the partnership seeks to unlock reliable capacity without building new power infrastructure.
